Ruun Costa won all his games (6/6) to emerge as the Champion of the just concluded 2nd South Sudan Chess Championship. The event was organized by South Sudan Chess Federation in partnership with their Kenyan counterparts; Kenya Chess Masala and Black Knights Chess Club.
The event was closed to South Sudanese nationals only who reside in the country. The event aimed at providing a conducive platform in which they could come and interact with their fellow countrymen while at the same time enjoying themselves through a game of chess.
